Privacy Policy & Terms
The short version. GoRaids matches Pokémon GO trainers into remote raid groups. To do that we store your sign-in identity, the trainer name and code you type in, and your raid activity. We never see your Pokémon GO password, we don't sell data, and you can delete your account — and everything with it — from inside the app at any time.
1. Who we are
GoRaids is an independent, fan-made companion app for Pokémon GO. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Niantic, Scopely, Nintendo, or The Pokémon Company. Contact: support@goraids.com.
2. What we collect

We do not collect your location, your Pokémon GO account credentials, your Pokémon, or your contacts.
3. How we use it
- To match you into raid rooms and run the lobby (timers, confirmations, invites, completion).
- To award and spend RaidPoints and apply membership perks.
- To keep the community honest: ratings and no-show reports are tied to your account, and repeated abuse can lead to restrictions or a ban.
- To notify you about your own raids. We do not send marketing notifications.
- To show ads to free-tier users in the mobile apps (Google AdMob). The web app shows no ads.
4. Who we share it with
Only the processors needed to run the service, and only what they need:
- Other trainers in your room see your display name, trainer name, team, and membership tier; raiders see the host's trainer code.
- Google / Apple — sign-in.
- RevenueCat (and Apple / Google Play / Stripe) — purchases and subscription status.
- Expo — delivering mobile push notifications; browser vendors (Google, Apple, Mozilla) — delivering Web Push.
- Google AdMob — ads in the free tier of the mobile apps only, subject to your device's tracking settings.
- Hetzner (Germany) and Cloudflare — hosting and delivery. Our databases live in the EU.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers beyond what AdMob needs to serve ads in the mobile apps.
5. Retention and deletion
- Your account and profile stay until you delete them. Profile → Delete account removes your account, profile, points, notification tokens, and any active queue or room immediately.
- Raid history, points transactions, and timeout records are deleted after 90 days.
- Sign-in refresh tokens expire after 90 days of inactivity and are deleted.
- Server logs are rotated within a few weeks.
6. Children
GoRaids is for trainers aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13; if you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Your rights
You can see and edit your profile in the app, export what we hold about you by asking us, and delete your account yourself at any time. If you are in the EU/UK you also have the right to object, restrict, and complain to your supervisory authority. Write to support@goraids.com.
8. Terms of use
- GoRaids coordinates trainers; the raid itself happens in Pokémon GO under Niantic's own terms. You are responsible for your own account and for following the game's rules.
- Be a good host and a good raider: send the invites you promised, confirm when you're friended, don't leave a squad hanging. Ratings and no-show reports exist so that everyone can see who does.
- Harassment, cheating, impersonation, spamming rooms, or gaming the points system can get your account restricted or removed.
- RaidPoints have no cash value and can't be transferred or refunded. Memberships are billed by Apple, Google Play, or Stripe under their terms and can be cancelled there at any time.
- The service is provided as-is; we don't guarantee that a raid will fill, that a host will invite you, or that the game will let you in. We may change or discontinue features.
- We will post changes to this page and, for material changes, tell you in the app.
